The history of handmade goods is important to me ...  I think about how the Industrial Revolution impacted design production, and how technology has affected writers, designers, and artists throughout history. 

glossary syndicate is a creative reuse and eco-mindful design practice,
blending analog + digital, and handmade + machine made.

We use recycling, up-cycling, post-consumer paper waste, junk mail and trash. But we also create through digital print-on-demand companies who employ people, offer no/low-inventory, and a semi-low carbon footprint (US).

More importantly, these things are made for you - dear viewer and reader - as tools, relics and collections for a meaningful life.

Since 1992, Leora Lutz has been making conceptual art objects and installations, as well as useful things. Her art practice incorporates painting, sculpture, text, and sound.
She focuses on communication and language, deeply invested in the ways people understand and relate to each other, and to the objects around them. Her work has been shown at Angel Island, The Palm Springs Art Museum, Riverside Art Museum, LAMoCA, and the US Embassy in Belgrade to name a few. ​
